Cincinnati Bengals to Play in Charity Basketball Game to Benefit Local Education Foundation
Kettering OH, - On February 24, 2008 the Cincinnati Bengals will invade the James S. Trent Arena at Fairmont High School to challenge a team of local celebrities to a charity basketball game. The Bengals will take the floor at 3:00 pm for what is sure to be a fantastic four quarters of rim-rockin’ high-flyin’ action. All proceeds of the game will benefit the Kettering Education Foundation’s grant programs and scholarship initiatives.
“The Kettering Education Foundation is excited to be involved in what is sure to be another fun family event at the Trent Arena”, said Matt Wahrhaftig, Kettering Education Foundation Executive Director “We are very thankful to all of our sponsors and supporters who have helped make this event possible, and are looking forward to a great game.”
The event will include the basketball game, autograph opportunities, Bengals silent auction items, and a raffle for autographed Bengals memorabilia. Tickets are on-sale now through the Farimont Box Office, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling (937) 228-2323.
The Kettering Education Foundation is a non-profit entity that raises funds to provide grant support for the Kettering City School District. Over the past 14 years almost $160,000 has been granted back to the teachers of the Kettering City School District for innovative and extraordinary programs that would not have typically received funding through standard district channels. Along with the grants program the Kettering Education Foundation provides scholarships for Kettering students looking to further their education.
